Tinglesoft Desktop Recorder Help

Introduction:

Tinglesoft Desktop Recorder is the simplest product to record your desktop activities real time and the speech from microphone, and then combine them into a high quality video file.

It can also record the DirectShow/DirectX applications, like the video playback inside Windows Media Player or some games!

It is useful for your demonstrations, help documentation, customer support and training material etc.

With it, you can select the full screen or any area of your screen to record; or just record the activities of one application window which you are interested in.

You can select one of the output video file format from: AVI, Windows Media Video (WMV), Flash Video (FLV), SWF and MPEG-4 Video (MP4). And set the frame size for the target video.

Trial version will add text watermark on recorded video. If you need to remove the limitation, please purchase it.

Before starting the recording, please make sure you have enough free disk spaces for the "Temporarily Folder".
It may need several Giga bytes or more for the high quality temporarily files.

Brief Manual:

1. Download and install Tinglesoft Desktop Recorder.

2. Launch Tinglesoft Desktop Recorder.

3. Click the "Browse for Default Output Folder" button to set the output folder where you want to save the videos you record by default. This setting will be saved, so you do not need to do that anymore unless you want to change the folder.

4. Click the "Browse for Temporary Folder" button to set the temporary folder for the intermediate files. Please select a disk whose free space is large. This setting will be saved, so you do not need to do that anymore unless you want to change the folder.

5. Select the area you want to record.
You can select "Record Full Screen" to record everything on your desktop;
Or you can select "Record Specific Area", and the click the "Select Record Area" button to select the area you want to record;
Or you can select "Record Specific Application", and the select the application. The current area of the application will be recorded.

6. Check the "Record Audio from Microphone" button if you want to record the sound from microphone.

7. Select the output format from AVI, Windows Media Video (WMV), MPEG-4 Video (MP4), SWF or Flash Video Format (FLV).

8. If you need to record the screen of DirectShow/DirectX technology applications, Windows Media Player or some games for example, please check the button "Record DirectShow/DirectX Applications or Games" before Windows Media Player starts.
If you don't need to capture these kinds of applications, please uncheck it.

9. Now you can start to record your desktop.
Please press the "Start Record" button, or press the hot key you select in "Start Hot Key". By default, press "Alt" and "S" together will start recording.

10. If you want to finish the recording, please press the "Stop Record" button, or press the hot key you select in "Stop Hot Key". By default, press "Alt" and "Q" together will stop recording.
